About Me

I grew up and have spent most of my life in Richmond, VA.  I attended James Madison University where I received my B.S. in Biology and a M.A.T. in Secondary Education.  Soon after, I started teaching Biology and Ecology at Atlee High School.  While I loved my colleagues and the students, I knew it was time to pursue my passion for design.  I applied and was accepted at Virginia Commonwealth University (recently ranked among the top 10 design schools) and the rest is history!  I started my Masters in Fine Arts: Interior Environments in July of 2010 and plan on graduating in May of 2012.
